Publication Ethics

IJISEA (International Journal for Interdisciplinary Sciences and Engineering Applications) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal follows ethical publishing practices to ensure the quality, credibility, and reliability of scholarly research published in the journal.

The publication of an article in IJISEA represents a significant contribution to the scientific and academic community. Therefore, all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers, are expected to follow ethical principles and professional standards.

Duties of Authors:
Authors must submit only original research work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should ensure that data presented in the manuscript are accurate, authentic, and free from fabrication or manipulation.

Any form of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data falsification, or unethical research behavior is strictly prohibited. Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and acknowledge financial support or funding sources where applicable.

Duties of Editors:
Editors are responsible for evaluating submitted manuscripts based solely on academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journals scope. Editors must maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and should not use unpublished materials for personal research purposes.

Editorial decisions should be free from discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, religious belief, institutional affiliation, or political philosophy. Editors should take appropriate action in cases of ethical concerns, plagiarism, or research misconduct.

Duties of Reviewers:
Reviewers assist the editorial board in making publication decisions through objective and constructive review comments. All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.

Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors and should report any similarity, plagiarism, or ethical concern observed during the review process. Reviewers must avoid conflicts of interest and should not review manuscripts where personal or professional relationships could affect impartiality.

Research Misconduct:
IJISEA takes all forms of publication misconduct seriously, including plagiarism, citation manipulation, data fabrication, image manipulation, duplicate submission, and unethical experimentation. Appropriate actions, including rejection, correction, retraction, or reporting to relevant institutions, may be taken when misconduct is identified.

Confidentiality:
All editorial and review activities are conducted confidentially. Information regarding submitted manuscripts is disclosed only to corresponding authors, reviewers, editors, and publishing staff as necessary.

Ethical Compliance:
Authors conducting research involving humans, animals, or sensitive data must ensure compliance with applicable ethical guidelines, institutional approvals, and informed consent requirements.

IJISEA is dedicated to promoting ethical research practices, transparency, accountability, and integrity in scholarly publishing.
